Come and start your career training at Salto Gymnastics Club.  The Coach in Training (CIT) program is designed for young people who are interested in becoming a gymnastics coach and furthering their development as a future leader.  Learn skills through classroom discussion, gymnastics training, working with senior staff mentors, and volunteer commitments by working through the Canadian Gymnastics Federation’s Coach in Training Program. 

The CIT program consists of six levels each with Classroom, Volunteering, Observing, Gymming, and Practical Apprenticing requirements.  The classroom schedule will be handed out on the first day of class then posted on the website through the link below.

Each level is designed to be completed in one Salto recreation session.  With exception to CIT level 1, the course fee is fully reimbursed to those who complete the required tasks of the course within the session.

Upon completion of the first three CIT levels 15 year old participants may be eligible to complete the National Coaching Certification Program Foundations course one year earlier than those who do not take the CIT program.
