I started gymnastics in kindergarten, where I was selected to be part of the team, by our ballet teacher. Did gymnastics in my hometown until I was 13 years old when I was registered as a Junior National Team athlete. I ended my gymnastics career at age 17 and moved in the MAG coaching area. When I was 20, I switched to WAG program due to high demand from our Gymnastics club. In 2003 I was offered to join the WAG Junior National Team in Onesti City where I have spent the next couple of years.
I moved to Canada in 2005, after leaving the Romanian Junior National Team and believe me, it was a difficult decision to leave everybody behind and move into the unknown.
As a Head coach I hope that the people would say that I tried to put my athletes, my peers coaches and my supervisors needs ahead of mine. To make sure everybody gets as much as they need or as much as possible for each one of them to handle.
